OUR COURSES

Based on contemporary concepts of traumatology, EMTC is an indigenous, methodically structured training programme which over three days of intensive training, is designed to provide adequate knowledge and training in priortisation and early management of trauma. It comprises of lectures, scenarios and skill stations concluded by an evaluation process. The course is conducted by Senior Faculty Members of the Pushpagiri Medical College from the Departments of General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Anaesthesia, Neurosurgery, Radio-Diagnosis and Accident & Emergency Medicine.

Pushpagiri Allied Health Science was Established in 2008. This programme is to develop manpower for health sector by providing them the necessary knowledge and skill to ensure the quality services in the remote areas of our country.

“Professionals” who do a Blood Test or a massage or a therapy or aid in a test or handle a heart & lung machine and aid the doctor for better treatment of the patient and hence make health care easy and effective are called as “Allied Health Science (AHS) Professionals”. An Allied Health Science person is a professional who helps the doctors in specialized areas and facilitates for better diagnosis, treatment and therapy. The increase in number of patients, variety of diseases & the demand for immense treatment has paved the way for AHS professionals who are expert technicians or therapists providing better quality to human health care.
