Neuromedicine

Neuromedicine is a collaborative venture between the departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery. The Department of Neuromedicine has been functioning in this hospital for more than 15 years.  The services in this department include OP Section which functions on all weekdays except Fridays and caters to approximately 1000 patients per month.  The OP Unit functions from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.All acute neurological emergencies are managed in the ICU setting. There is a Neurology Ward, with specially trained nurses. The team also comprises of Physiotherapists, Dieticians, Developmental Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Clinical Psychologist.  We function as a tertiary neurology reference and attract references from far off regions.
