Clinical Microbiology Testing      

  • Conducting a variety of tests to identify infectious agents in patient samples, including blood, urine, sputum, and swabs

Bacteriology

  • Identifying and characterizing bacterial pathogens responsible for infections.
  • Performing antibiotic susceptibility testing to guide treatment.

Virology

  • Detecting and characterizing viral infections using techniques such as PCR (polymerase chain reaction) and viral culture
  • Conducting tests for specific viruses, including influenza, hepatitis, and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)

Infection Prevention and Control
