Dr P Sukumaran is the Emeritus Professor of Respiratory Medicine and has been working with Pushpagiri Medical College Hospital for more than 10 years. Before joining Pushpagiri, he has vast experience of more than 30 years in various Government Medical Colleges & Private Medical Colleges of Kerala. He retired from Government service as a Professor of Respiratory Medicine from Government Medical College, Kottayam. He is one of the best chest physicians in the country. He is a post-graduate teacher for MD Respiratory Medicine. His academic qualification includes MBBS (Govt. Medical College, Calicut 1975), MD Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases (Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute, Delhi 1981)
