Dr. Subhash B Pillai is the Professor & Head of the Department of Nephrology. His academic qualifications include MBBS (Medical College, Trivandrum 1996), MD in General Medicine (Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore 2001), DM Nephrology ( Seth G.S Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai 2005) and clinical fellowship in adult Nephrology (University of Toronto, Canada 2008). He joined Pushpagiri Medical College as an Assistant Professor in 2006 and later went on to work in various medical colleges and teaching hospitals in India and abroad. He joined back Pushpagiri in 2016.
