Dialysis project

The Cardinal Cleemis Dialysis Project is an initiative aimed at providing subsidised dialysis treatment to individuals in need. Through the charity venture of the Archdiocese of Thiruvalla, this project offers dialysis services at a significantly reduced cost, making it accessible to the economically disadvantaged population.

Dialysis is a life-saving procedure required by individuals suffering from kidney failure. However, the high cost of dialysis treatment often poses a significant financial burden on patients and their families. Recognising this issue, the Archdiocese of Thiruvalla, under the guidance of Cardinal Cleemis, has taken the noble initiative of making dialysis treatment more affordable and accessible for those in need. One of the key aspects of the Cardinal Cleemis Dialysis Project is the provision of a substantial subsidy for dialysis treatment. While the actual cost of a dialysis session may amount to approximately 1400 rupees, the project offers the treatment at a subsidized rate of 300.

The project prioritizes those who are economically disadvantaged, ensuring that the subsidy reaches those who need it the most. This reduced cost makes it feasible for economically underprivileged individuals to undergo regular dialysis sessions without worrying about the financial burden. The project operates through a network of dialysis centres established by the Archdiocese of Thiruvalla across various locations. These centres are equipped with state-of-the-art dialysis machines and staffed by trained medical professionals who ensure the highest quality of care. The availability of these centres in multiple locations further enhances the accessibility of subsidized dialysis treatment for individuals living in different parts of Thiruvalla and its surrounding areas. This charity venture by the Archdiocese of Thiruvalla, under the guidance of Cardinal Cleemis, exemplifies the compassionate and inclusive spirit of the organisation. Through the Cardinal Cleemis Dialysis Project, the Archdiocese has demonstrated its commitment to serving the community and addressing the healthcare needs of the underprivileged. By making dialysis treatment more accessible and affordable, the project has undoubtedly positively impacted the lives of numerous individuals, providing them with a lifeline in their battle against kidney failure.

Our dialysis unit consists of multiple treatment stations where patients receive their dialysis therapy. These stations are typically equipped with comfortable reclining chairs or beds.
